Yavneh Olami's Summer Internship Program (SIP) enables students and recent graduates from all over the world to intern in their fields of interest in Israel within a social and educational environment.

SIP participants spend their days hard at work in order to experience working conditions, explore employment opportunities and make contacts.

We do our very best to accommodate your internship requests. The sooner you apply the better your chance of getting your chosen internship.

Extra curricular programs include Shabbatonim, weekly group dinners, tiyulim, shiurim and guest lecturers.

Yavneh Olami is a religious Zionist student organization that abides by halachic standards. Jewish students of all backgrounds are welcome.

Dates:

The program will take place between June 28th and August 12th, 2012.

Cost:

Application fee: $50 (non-refundable)

Program Fee: $1290 + $50 health insurance ($1340)

The program fee includes:

• Job placement in Jerusalem
• Accommodations in Jerusalem
• Medical Insurance
• Shabbatonim
• Shiurim
• Tiyulim
• Weekly group dinners
• Lots more extra-curricular programming!

Airfare is not included.

Participants are responsible for their daily food and expenses.

Application Process:

Students who are interested in applying to SIP must first fill out an online application form (see link above). Applications will only be processed after the students pay the $50 application fee. After application is processed, participants will be interviewed by a Yavneh Olami staff member. Following the interview, participants will be assigned a coordinator and be requested to pay a $150 deposit to hold their spot (part of program cost). The rest of the program fee must be after after the students receive their internship placement.

Requirements:

1) The Yavneh Olami Summer Internship Program is only open to students who have completed at least 1 full year of university.

 2) Students must commit to being in Israel for the entire duration of the program (June 28th - August 12th).

 3) Students must commit to working at least five mornings a week.
